Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years formal electrical training (classroom) or four years practical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet and work in variable temperatures.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment.
• Capability to plan and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diverse machinery.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Prepare reports and maintain spare parts inventories; issue P.O. worksheets.
• Read diagrams and perform wiring and control installations; operate shop equipment.
• Work with maintenance supervisor, provide guidance to junior personnel when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and local electrical codes.
