Job summary
HI-LEX seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to lead in-depth troubleshooting and perform complex repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in our Litchfield, MI facility. You will support preventive maintenance, assist with machine modifications, and ensure safety and reliability of manufacturing equipment while working on second shift.
The role requires a High School diploma and 3–5 years of maintenance experience; PLC troubleshooting and electrical panel work
Qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- 3–5 years maintenance experience.
- Experience with mechanical equipment, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on all manufacturing and plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical & PLC issues; electrical problems.
- Dismantle machines and replace defective parts; adjust feeds and sensors.
- Install electrical raceways and bend & fit conduit.
- Work on engineering projects such as panel building and machine modifications.
- Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Maintain safe, clean work environment.
