Job summary

Lacerta Group Llc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain plastics manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes independent troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems in a fast-paced plant.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support equipment installations, and contribute to continuous improvement while coordinating with Production and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree, certificate, or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in plastics/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment including thermoforming, extrusion, and conveyors.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance per schedules and manufacturer guidance.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts usage; assist with equipment installations.
