Job summary

TeMa North America LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to support equipment and facility maintenance in a plastics manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on injection molding machines, extruders, blow molders, and automated systems to ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in plastics manufacturing, strong understanding of 3-phase electrical systems, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on plastics manufacturing equipment (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, thermoformers).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize machine uptime.
• Diagnose failures across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, and PLC logic.
• Maintain and troubleshoot temperature controllers, dryers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO, electrical safety, and machine guarding.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and propose efficiency improvements.
