Job summary

Helion Energy in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to service high‑voltage production equipment for fusion reactor systems. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure equipment readiness in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Responsibilities include repairing conveyors, test systems, motors, sensors, and drives, documenting all activity in CMMS, and supporting reliability improvements for uptime and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on technical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• High school diploma required; technical training may substitute some experience.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals and maintenance records for troubleshooting.
• Experience with 480V systems, motors, drives, sensors and safety circuits.
• Strong documentation and CMMS usage; ability to work on varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment including high-voltage test systems and automation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues using schematics and manuals.
• Install/repair components like sensors, relays, motors, and gearboxes.
• Document work in CMMS with labor, parts, and history for each job.
• Support emergency repairs and reliability improvements to boost uptime.
