Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support production equipment for fusion reactor systems. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment readiness on site.

The role requires a hands-on background in industrial maintenance, ability to read schematics, and experience with CMMS documentation. Flexibility for varied shifts and strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on technical maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems such as high voltage equipment, motors, drives, sensors, and safety circuits.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, OEM docs, and maintenance records to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment used to build high-voltage capacitors and modules for Helion’s fusion reactor systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; restore equipment readiness.
• Document maintenance activity in a CMMS with labor, failures, repairs, parts, and history.
• Support reliability improvements and PM quality to improve uptime and MTTR.
