Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to address resident service requests, perform hands-on maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more, and ensure market-ready apartments.

You will help manage inventory and, when the Service Manager is unavailable, take on supervisory duties, while embracing a schedule that includes weekends and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Computer literacy and clear written/oral English communication.
• Knowledge of federal/state apartment housing laws.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts.
• EPA 608 Type I/II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days.
• Ability to respond to emergencies after hours; after-hours contact details required.
• Smartphone use is expected for work-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Promptly address resident service requests.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks across multiple trades.
• Prepare market-ready apartments and maintain community grounds.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify repairs or replacements.
• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Service Manager.
