Job summary

Heritage Properties is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Middlesex Village, MA. You will address repair requests, perform routine inspections, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of our buildings.

Work with property managers and other technicians to handle repairs, turnovers and upkeep. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding to emergencies after hours and ensuring timely, quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and other systems.
• Ability to complete all work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Ability to complete apartment turnovers, within the first 7 days of move out, including painting, repairs and turnover cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Address repair requests and perform routine inspections to maintain safety and functionality of properties.
• Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents and fellow maintenance technicians.
• Communicate professionally with residents, colleagues and contractors.
