Job summary

Heritage Properties is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician in Lowell, MA. You will handle repair requests, perform routine inspections and maintain safety across properties.

You will collaborate with property managers, leasing agents and fellow technicians to keep buildings in top condition. The role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry, with a 24/7 on-call rotation (one week every five weeks) and mileage reimbursement for a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and other systems.
• Ability to complete all work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Ability to complete apartment turnovers within the first 7 days of move out, including painting, repairs and turnover cleaning.
• Excellent communication with residents, colleagues and contractors.
• Proactive mindset with regular building inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Willingness to assist and share knowledge within a collaborative team.
• Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
• On-call rotation 24/7; one week out of every 5 weeks; responds to emergencies after hours.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Responsibilities
