Job summary

Viracon LLC in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for the night shift. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, and reading schematics.

The position offers a starting pay of $30.00/hour plus a night shift premium and requires a 12-hour overnight shift. Ideal candidates have industrial maintenance experience, are skilled troubleshooters, and can work independently while supporting a busy production

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors and other equipment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening, including marijuana.
• Must be available to work the assigned 12 hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other maintenance repairs.
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify root causes.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate issues to the team.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Work independently while supporting the maintenance team and production operations.

Starting Pay: $30.00/hour + Night Shift Premium | Pay Based on Experience Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Location: Owatonna, MN

Viracon is continuously hiring experienced Senior Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team in Owatonna, MN. What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other maintenance repairs
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify the root cause of problems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment
• Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to the team
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work independently while also supporting the maintenance team and production operations

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong troubleshooters who can diagnose and repair equipment issues
• Experienced with electrical and mechanical systems
• Comfortable working independently and making maintenance decisionsAble to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable and safety focused
• Willing to work a 12 hour overnight shift

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems preferred
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and other industrial equipment preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment
• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening, including marijuana
• Must be available to work the assigned 12 hour night shift

Night Shift Schedule

The night shift works a 12 hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday

This schedule provides consistent hours while giving you every other weekend off.
