Job summary

Viracon LLC in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician on the night shift to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment. The role requires reading electrical schematics, interpreting mechanical drawings, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Starting pay is $30.00/hour with a night shift premium. Candidates should be experienced in industrial maintenance, able to work independently, and willing to work a 12-hour overnight schedule

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems preferred
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and other industrial equipment preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment
• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening, including marijuana
• Must be available to work the assigned 12 hour night shift

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other maintenance repairs
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify the root cause of problems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment
• Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to the team
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work independently while also supporting the maintenance team and production operations

Location: Owatonna, MN

Viracon is continuously hiring experienced Senior Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team in Owatonna, MN.

Night Shift Schedule

The night shift works a 12 hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday

This schedule provides consistent hours while giving you every other weekend off.
