Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Minnesota facility to support the maintenance team. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, assisting with repairs, and preparing parts in a loud plant environment.

The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge, can use hand and power tools, and is eager to learn. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a strong work ethic; shift is 3rd, Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with a $1.50/hour shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician I will provide entry-level support to the maintenance team. This role is ideal for candidates with some mechanical knowledge who are eager to learn and grown into a skilled technician role.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently interacts with individuals on the plant floor, near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.

Pay Range

• $24.01-27.00 per hour, plus $1.50/hour shift premium
