Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support daily building operations across multiple properties. The role involves proactive inspections, preventative maintenance, and responsive service to tenants and managers.

The candidate will handle Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and general systems, maintain logs, and ensure safety and compliance. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Trade school or related experience in listed fields.
• 3-5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Background Check, MVR check, and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily all grounds, building(s), garage(s), parking areas, structures, roofs, stairs, common and storage areas as directed by the property manager.
• Complete periodic inspections of tenant spaces as determined by the manager.
• If applicable, perform routine visual inspections of company vehicle, equipment, and supplies and report issues to the property manager.
• Maintain building equipment log to ensure information is correct and up to date.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and storage areas in a clean and organized fashion as required by building code.
• Report tenant complaints and issues to the property manager immediately.
• Complete all work orders and service calls in a timely manner.
• Respond to after hours or emergency calls within one hour of notification.
