Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support our distribution services in Salt Lake City. You will work Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on a part-time basis, and focus on preventive maintenance of facility equipment and MHE. Compensation ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities/Plant Management, plus 2–4 years of related experience and an electrical background. CAD and CMMS proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities/Plant Management; some technical training.
• Two to four years related experience; strong electrical background preferred.
• Experience in development of preventive maintenance programs; knowledge of diesel generators, fire pumps, and HVAC units.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment.
• Diagnose MHE-related errors and perform repairs.
• Oversee maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of MHE.
• Manage spare parts inventory in a CMMS.
• Coordinate downtime responses with outside vendors for repairs.
• Lead Maintenance Support Specialists and assign tasks.
