Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the second shift at a Life Science campus in Cambridge, MA. You will support building operations, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain mechanical/electrical systems, energy management, and Fire Safety systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years related experience.
Wastewater Treatment License or ability to achieve within six months.
Proficient in building management systems (BMS).
Ability to act as Lead Engineer when required.
Reliable and professional.

Responsibilities

Complete interior and exterior general maintenance projects and work orders.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems via building management system.
Repair and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities per manuals and specs.
Maintenance of HVAC, boilers, and energy management systems.
Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls as needed.
Communicate status to owner/supervisor of completed work.
