Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician in West Chicago for mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on equipment. This expert role includes training team members and scheduling work, with a strong emphasis on safety and 5S.

Domestic and international travel up to 5% is expected, and relocation is not offered. The position is full-time, on-site, and offers a competitive pay rate with benefits and opportunities for career growth within

Competenze

• 2 years in a similar role with hands on machine maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Industrial Maintenance Technician program not required but preferred.
• Good mechanical and electrical skills with ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems; follow safety regulations and pursue training opportunities.

Mansioni

• Observe machines to identify root causes and preventative measures.
• Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts and test performance.
• Perform electrical testing and mechanical repairs; set up machining operations and repair parts.
• Provide training and collaboration to team members; back up others as directed.
• Record job and work order information; comply with 5S and safety initiatives.
