Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead in Gallatin, TN to safely maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and building systems.

You will supervise the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Technicians, schedule work, coach and mentor team members, and identify training opportunities to improve the department's skill set.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Simpson Strong-Tie PIT certification or ability to obtain at hire.
• 6–10 years of related maintenance or leadership experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
• Safety-conscious with OSHA-compliant practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the work of the maintenance technicians.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment and systems.
• Lead special projects as necessary.
• Oversee 2nd shift schedule: 3:00 PM–1:30 AM with overtime.
