Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV (Manufacturing) to lead the most complex troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of production equipment. You will apply mastery across mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation systems to keep operations safe and productive.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will mentor junior technicians, support reliability initiatives, and collaborate with engineering and OEMs to improve asset life and performance on high-risk, time-critical

Qualifications

• Mastery-level knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic capability.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, PLC logic, and technical documentation.
• Strong judgment in high-risk or time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis and correction of the most complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation failures.
• Troubleshoot advanced PLC-controlled systems, drives, motors, robotics, safety circuits, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Resolve chronic, non-routine, or high-impact equipment issues affecting safety or production continuity.
• Act as the escalation authority for breakdowns and critical equipment events.
• Advance preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for critical assets.
• Support RCFA and corrective action development with Maintenance Engineers.
