Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on distribution center equipment in an on-site setting. The role requires a bachelor degree and 2+ years of maintenance experience in related environments, with PLCs, sensors, and CMMS knowledge considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in an office, distribution or manufacturing setting or 4 years in equivalent roles.
• Knowledge of industrial power, motors, protective devices and sensors.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work at height.
• Experience with PLCs, schematics and CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and minor mechanical fixes on distribution center equipment.
• Uses CMMS to plan upkeep and track tasks.
• Collaborates with senior technician for preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Maintains a safe work environment by addressing potential safety issues.
• Supports Walgreens operations across the distribution center.
