Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to keep the facility running smoothly and to repair system problems promptly. The role involves handling complex maintenance tasks across pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and conveyor systems within a distribution center.

You will use CMMS for planning and execution, mentor junior staff, and help identify and correct safety issues to ensure a safe operating environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a facility, distribution/ manufacturing setting OR an Associate degree with 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Experience with industrial electricity including single and three-phase power, motors, protective devices and/or photo sensors.
• Experience with electronics such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/O modules, servo drives, VFDs and scanning systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and complex mechanical repairs on DC equipment.
• Use CMMS to maintain machinery per manufacturer recommendations and best practices.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance Technicians and new Senior Maintenance Technicians.
• Maintain a safe work environment by addressing safety issues related to material-handling equipment and facilities.
