Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to keep the facility operating and repair system problems quickly. You will handle complex maintenance tasks across pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and conveyor systems.

The role supports the Distribution Center and requires mentoring newer technicians under management guidance. The position typically works the second shift, 2 PM to 10:30 PM local time, Sunday through Thursday nights, with responsibilities including preventive maintenance,

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance experience in facility, distribution, or manufacturing environments
• Experience with industrial electricity (single/three-phase, motors, protective devices)
• Experience with electronics like photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/O, servo drives, VFDs

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and complex repairs on DC equipment
• Use CMMS to maintain equipment per manufacturer recommendations
• Mentor and develop junior technicians
• Maintain a safe work environment by addressing safety issues with material-handling equipment
