Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of production equipment. You will replace, troubleshoot and repair production machines, and perform preventive maintenance to optimize performance.

The role requires reading blueprints and safety procedures, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing setting. High school diploma or GED and some technical certification are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and maintenance manuals.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles.
• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running optimally.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and replace components as needed.
• Review blueprints and repair manuals to guide maintenance work.
