Cadrex is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment in a safe, efficient manner. The role emphasizes developing preventive maintenance processes and collaborating with management on equipment needs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and proficiency with hand tools and multimeters. Onsite work in Wisconsin with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience may substitute in lieu of degree.
• Operate a variety of hand tools; understand mechanical processes; possess electronics knowledge; basic hydraulics knowledge.
• Previous experience in a machine shop maintenance role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and maintenance manuals; follow procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Develop work instructions for preventive maintenance systems.
• Use hand tools and multimeters to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Coordinate services from vendors and contractors; purchase parts; manage inventory.
• Train maintenance staff and operators for scheduled maintenance.
• Schedule preventive and unscheduled maintenance; prioritize tasks.
• Inspect equipment to locate malfunctions; patch or repair as needed.
• Provide emergency service and unscheduled repairs; perform scheduled maintenance.
• May use a personal vehicle for work assignments.
