Job summary

Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a General Maintenance Technician II to uphold the campus facilities across indoor and outdoor spaces. You will lead small projects, mentor junior techs, and provide advanced troubleshooting guidance to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, broad knowledge of building systems, and the ability to coordinate with vendors while supporting safety and inspections. On-site work in Bentonville, AR is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in building operations or related fields such as construction or maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building systems and components.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, equipment documentation, and maintenance procedures.
• Able to operate forklifts, scissor/extension lifts, and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks to support facility operations, including repairs, fabrication work, gallery installations, office remodels, and general equipment maintenance.
• Conduct routine upkeep of windows and specialized operating equipment used for facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and support scheduled maintenance activities.
• Lead assigned maintenance projects or phases, coordinating work and ensuring proper cleanup and restoration.
• Prepare for internal and external inspections and ensure areas meet required standards.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians to promote safe work practices.
• Participate in cross-training within Facilities to provide support across functions.
