Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is hiring a Service Technician 2 at Harbin Pointe in Bentonville, AR. You will work on maintenance tasks in occupied and vacant apartments, handling painting, drywall repairs, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems with emphasis on quality, efficiency, and resident service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience required.
• 3-5 years painting and drywall repairs required.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and climb stairs.
• HVAC, CPO, EPA certification desired or required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall repair, trash out, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Independently perform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC, appliances, etc.
• Perform detailed carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting.
• Identify when full-paint or touch-up paint is needed and match sheen/color.
• Perform service requests for residents daily with minimal supervision.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and property improvements as scheduled.
