Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for our Vernon, CA food manufacturing facility. You will maintain and repair automated production equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and help reduce downtime to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with 480V systems, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• PLC troubleshooting experience; Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred.
• Knowledge of sensors, relays, contactors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and safety circuits.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, pipefitting, and precision alignment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with predictive maintenance tools is a plus.
• Food, beverage, pharmaceutical, packaging, or other GMP manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, motors, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and safety circuits.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting, I/O diagnostics, and ladder logic.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Perform equipment rebuilds, installations, alignments, and repairs.
• Document maintenance work and work orders through a CMMS.
• Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
• Help maintain equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. This person will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated production equipment while helping minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities
