Job summary
Walmart is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures at our Labelle, FL location. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair systems, then document the work and recommendations while coordinating with store leadership and contractors.
You will lead hands-on training for technicians, oversee safety programs, and ensure work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards on site.
Qualifications
- Vocational/technical certification with 3 years' related experience or 6 years' related experience.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in last 5 years.
- No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
- No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, or fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, repair, and document maintenance activities and recommendations.
- Lead and train Technicians on safety, control, troubleshooting, and operations.
- Coordinate with managers, contractors, and parts suppliers; manage work orders and budgets.
