Job summary

Chapters Health System in Florida seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance of the organization’s properties and facilities.

The role requires 3+ years in general maintenance, knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, OSHA/NFPA safety, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll travel to off-site locations and be on-call nights, weekends and holidays to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of general maintenance and/or maintenance/repair of equipment.
• Ability to read electrical circuitry and basic electrical principles.
• Read and interpret plumbing schematics; sweat or cement pipe joints; operate snake equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains building and repairs as directed by the Facilities Manager.
• Oversees contractors for HVAC and other disciplines and manages major repairs or purchases.
• Maintains fire prevention and suppression equipment to comply with regulatory agencies.
• Submits purchase orders and initiates Capital Expenditure Requests.
• Monitors and maintains HVAC systems to meet Joint Commission and AHCA requirements.
