Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a mission-driven Maintenance Technician II to provide excellent maintenance service to the buildings and grounds at assigned YMCA locations for the benefit of members and program participants. You will report to the Association Facility Manager, perform repairs across multiple trades, and keep the facilities management system updated.

The role may support aquatics, camps, custodial tasks, and volunteer builds.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in building maintenance and repairs.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and emergency plans.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and oral communication with members, staff, and volunteers.
Some computer skills to use maintenance software.
Valid driver7s license and ability to travel to branches.

Responsibilities

Perform diverse repairs across trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, landscaping).
Open/close facilities and maintain grounds per YMCA standards.
Update work orders and inventory in facilities management software.
Support aquatics projects, camp projects, custodial tasks, and volunteer build events.
