Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Housekeeping Technician to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of YMCA facilities across branches. This full-time position supports our nonprofit mission by creating safe, welcoming spaces that promote healthy living and community.

Duties include cleaning and light maintenance of buildings and grounds, with possible after-hours work, weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of custodian work, cleaning and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in custodial work.
• Ability to observe and report needs for maintenance and supplies.
• Dependability, attention to detail and relationship-building skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain YMCA buildings and grounds at branches.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance assignments; may work after hours, weekends or holidays; some lifting.
