Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Sr Maintenance Technician for Product Test & Calibration to provide preventative maintenance and technical support to improve equipment efficiency and minimize downtime. You will keep records, perform general repairs and installations, and assist in training with a focus on safety and compliance.

Shift is 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, on-site. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights regularly, and collaboration with Maintenance

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred.
• Frequently lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights regularly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on assigned equipment as needed and document changes as required by operating procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance of equipment and provide instruction to Maintenance personnel during the process
• Provide technical assistance as requested and arrange for support if necessary
• Ensure proper set-up of facilities equipment according to procedures and product specifications at the completion of assigned tasks
• Observe plant regulations and use personal protective equipment as required
• Transport hazardous waste to accumulation areas
• Be on a Call In/On Call status when needed
• Any other duties assigned as required.
