Job summary

Ariel Corporation in Akron, OH is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to operate as a multi-craft technician, maintaining equipment used to machine and assemble our compressors and the facilities that house them.

You will respond to repair calls, perform total productive maintenance, and work on projects like machine installs and facility upgrades, while coordinating with contractors, scheduling repairs, and ordering parts. Experience with CNC, hydraulic, and electrical systems is valued.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (cranes, forklifts).
Knowledge of manufacturing practices (ISO, safety, quality).
Mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting in a manufacturing env.
Experience operating, working on, or rebuilding CNC machine tools.
Experience performing alignments on manufacturing equipment.
Experience using precision measuring tools.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and ladder diagrams.
Experience with projects and PM planning.
5+ years with 3-phase power; 5+ years Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities
