Job summary

Assurant in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance of highly automated production lines, including robotics, vision systems, conveyors, and PLC-controlled equipment.

You will diagnose complex issues, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance. This onsite role runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, supporting uptime and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including automation systems.
Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, robotics, PLCs, vision systems, motors, sensors, and industrial controls.
Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
Experience with CMMS platforms such as eMaint or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, robotic, vision, and automation systems.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Serve as the primary escalation resource for advanced equipment issues.
Mentor and train technicians on troubleshooting, safety, and maintenance procedures.
Coordinate maintenance activities and provide shift leadership when supervisors are unavailable.
