Job summary

ID Logistics in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a range of packaging systems, AVGs, and robotics. Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, and motor drives is required, with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and adherence to GMP and safety rules.

The role involves independent work and timely reporting using the CMMS Upkeep, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting a multi-phase production operation. Shift expectations and on-site duties apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 3+ years in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing/Production, in the Food and Beverage Industry
• Ability to read and understand schematics and/or equipment drawings
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Experience with 24VDC up to 480VAC 3-phase
• Experience with case sealers, erectors, conveyors, wrappers, heat tunnels, printers, balers, pallets, and robotic cells
• Knowledge of HMIs, AC, DC motor drives, and PLCs for basic troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment.
• Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and OSHA rules while performing duties.
• Manage time effectively and complete tasks assigned by supervision.
• Report damages and issues to the supervising manager.
• Operate CMMS for PMs, work orders, repairs and parts inventory.
• Follow GMPs and safety rules at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
