Job summary

Filtration Group is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Wisconsin to perform set-ups, adjustments, preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment, ensuring optimal production and quality.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, test equipment, train operators, and coordinate with engineering to minimize downtime while following OSHA safety procedures. This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of equipment maintenance experience, including preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Electrical skills include panel wiring, AC/DC controls & drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, HVAC and machine setup.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to fabricate components from drawings or concepts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform bending, standing and other motions.
• PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time start-up and optimal performance of machinery.
• Analyze and correct mechanical and operational problems; implement running adjustments.
• Test equipment, clear jams and set aside product for inspection or rework.
• Examine products for quality using gauges and record data.
• Perform preventative maintenance and report findings; coordinate with engineering.
• Train operators on proper equipment use and adjustment techniques.
• Notify engineering of recurring issues and order replacement parts to prevent downtime.
