Job summary

Buffalo Tungsten, part of the Sandvik group, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment in a manufacturing setting in New York. The role requires strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and collaboration with engineering to implement improvements.

The position includes off-shift coverage, a 7PM-7AM schedule, and a pay rate of $36-$42 per hour with a $1 differential. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to perform accurate repairs.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams on upgrades and process improvements.
• Document all maintenance activities in CMMS with parts used and time spent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a wide range of production and plant equipment, including automated systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete repair work orders.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS for accurate tracking.
