Job summary

Greif is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. You will perform instrumentation work, calibrations, and loop checks, and diagnose PLC/HMI issues at the device level.

Qualifications

• Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 or more years of experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation/control systems.
• Proficiency in instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and documentation.
• Experience using CMMS to schedule work, track histories, and analyze failure data; understanding of reliability metrics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds equipment to restore operation.
• Performs instrumentation and controls work including calibration and loop checks.
• Diagnoses PLC/HMI/drive issues and applies corrective actions.
• Executes preventive maintenance and records findings in CMMS.
• Leads small maintenance tasks and mentors colleagues.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
