Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to bring advanced technical expertise to a diverse team focused on safe, reliable plant operations and peak performance. You will enhance machinery performance, drive maintenance reliability, and pursue ongoing on-the-job learning, training, and certifications.

This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00am–5:00pm) with overtime on weekends as needed; ideal for experienced technicians committed to operational excellence and continuous

Formación

• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• 5–8 years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment; equivalent military experience accepted.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to continuous learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise.
• Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
• Must demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform highly technically complex tasks with a higher degree of independence and occasional decisions.
• Diagnose and repair complex machinery; perform preventive maintenance; ensure production efficiency.
• Provide operators with support around machine reliability; collaborate with production associates and other technicians.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly; identify dangerous mechanical/electrical situations.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to ensure production exceeds standards.
• Learn and observe all required safety precautions.
• Use safety gear and procedures to minimize exposure to chemicals, dust, and hazards.
• Maintain work records and prepare clear oral and written reports.
• Work all required schedules.
