JOB DESCRIPTION:

1st shift: Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production with minimal downtime.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Repair all production and plant equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.
3. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
4. Use schematics and manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
5. Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
6. Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure reliability.
7. Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns.
8. Maintain records of maintenance activities.
9. Assist in installing new machinery or equipment.
10. Collaborate with the production team to resolve equipment issues.
11. Keep work areas clean and organized.
12. Stay current on new technology and maintenance practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
2. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostics.
3. Knowledge of safety practices.
4. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, schematics.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years in maintenance or repair roles, preferably in manufacturing.
