Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Each of the following duties represents a minimum of 20% of the employee's time. Additional site or department-specific duties may be assigned by the manager.

1. Maintenance Tasks: Perform reactive and planned maintenance, including diagnosing issues, dismantling devices, inspecting parts, adjusting, repairing or replacing defective parts, testing devices, and performing simple welding tasks.
2. Electrical and Mechanical Work: Collaborate with planners, analyze failures, recommend solutions, and build or troubleshoot electrical panels and machinery adhering to NFPA/NEC standards.
3. Grounds and Building Maintenance: Maintain grounds and building exteriors through electrical, mechanical, carpentry, or HVAC repairs.
4. Machining Operations: Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders; travel to remote sites as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but may involve training, orienting, leading, or checking the work of lower-level employees.
