Job summary

Ateeca Inc in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a facility maintenance technician for a manufacturing environment with clean rooms. You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot equipment, and perform emergency and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will operate, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment, with focus on HVAC, pumps, hydraulics, RO/DI water systems, compressed air, and gas distribution, while following safety guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders and troubleshooting.
• Experience with emergency and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including clean rooms.
• Knowledge of basic refrigeration theory.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and troubleshoot maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform emergency and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems, including clean rooms.
• Operate, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment per company standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment including HVAC, pumps, hydraulics, RO/DI water systems, compressed air, and gas systems.
• Maintain knowledge of basic refrigeration theory.

Job description

• Responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing emergency and preventive maintenance and repairs on the building equipment, fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment including clean rooms.
• Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs all facility and production associated equipment in compliance with all company regulations and standards.
• Performs trouble-shooting techniques on mechanical equipment such as HVAC, pumps, agitators, hydraulic systems, RO/DI purified water systems, compressed air and other gas equipment and distribution systems to determine problems and effect repairs as promptly and efficiently as possible to minimize downtime
• Knowledge of basic refrigeration theory.
