Job summary

Hyosung Hico Ltd. is seeking a Plant Engineering Technician to perform installation, maintenance and diagnostics on production and facilities equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems.

The role requires interpreting manuals, diagrams and schematics, identifying root causes of failures and executing lasting repairs while adhering to safety policies and TPM tasks. You will interface with PLCs and diagnose interlocks as needed, including HVAC system

Job description

Performs all duties of the Plant Engineering Technician.

Perform installation and maintenance on production and facilities equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems and components.

Analyze or interpret manuals, prints, wiring diagrams, schematics and other technical documents.

Identifies root causes of equipment failures and makes lasting repairs.

Perform assigned TPM tasks and assist in identifying needed TPM tasks and frequency adjustments.

Interface with PLC’s to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, understand ladder logic, reload and verify programs, operations and interlocks if required.

Operate, monitor and respond to HVAC system problems including large chiller operation.

Understands and performs work within the Company Safety Management System (CSMS) policies.

Consult with factory equipment representatives to resolve complex, recurring or abnormal issues.
