Job summary

Frey Consulting Group seeks a maintenance technician to perform corrective, preventive, and predictive work on manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems, realign components, and install or repair electrical/mechanical subsystems to ensure equipment meets specs.

Responsibilities include testing subassemblies, maintaining current qualifications, and addressing safety, quality, and reliability expectations over both short and long-term horizons.

  • Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment and performing corrective, preventive, and predictive work.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform corrective, preventive, and predictive work on manufacturing equipment, including complex troubleshooting and repair on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Realign and adjust various mechanical components, and install/repair electrical and mechanical systems as needed.
  • Perform mechanical and electromechanical tests on systems, subassemblies, and parts to verify unit function or diagnose failures.
  • Maintain qualifications current on equipment in their department(s) and operation.
  • Troubleshoot/repair equipment to meet safety, quality, and reliability goals both short- and long-term.

Job description

  • Safely and efficiently perform corrective, preventive, and predictive work on manufacturing equipment, including entry to complex level troubleshooting and repair techniques on manufacturing equipment consisting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Some realigning and adjusting of various mechanical components, as well as some installation and repair of electrical/mechanical systems
  • Preform a variety of mechanical and electromechanical tests on electrical/mechanical systems, subassemblies and parts to ensure unit functions according to specs or to determine cause of failure
  • Maintain their qualifications current on equipment in their specific department(s) and the operation
  • Troubleshoot/repair equipment and perform tasks necessary to meet safety, quality and reliability expectations, both short and long-term
