Description

The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is hiring a full time Senior Maintenance Technician for its condominium high-rise community in Quincy, MA.

Hours:

8:30am - 5pm, Sun - Thurs (off Fri and Sat)

Rotational on-call, nights, weekend, and holidays.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Walk and inspect the community with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactively respond to items that need repaired.
  • Light electrical work: change out light bulbs, light fixtures, and light sockets.
  • Light Plumbing work: investigate leaks, snake drains.
  • Light carpentry work: drywall, paint, plaster, and repair work.
  • Oversee 1 Maintenance Technician, maintenance contractors and vendors.
  • Source vendors, submit RFPs, review and negotiate contracts.
  • Submit top 3 vendor recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.
  • Schedule and coordinate vendor onsite.
  • Walk and inspect work of vendors to ensure work is done per contract terms.
  • Follow-up with the Portfolio Manager on progress of work done.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of residential maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up-skills, written and spoken.
  • Customer service driven and team oriented.
  • Proactive, takes the initiative, and has pride in the quality of work done.
  • Valid driver's license is required for employment.
