Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Performs expert-level maintenance: including break-fix and preventative maintenance, device inspection, dismantling, part examination, adjustments, repairs, testing, and reconditioning of machine tools.
2. Parts sourcing and evaluation: identifies and sources parts and supplies, evaluates alternatives for cost and reliability improvements.
3. Maintenance execution: performs maintenance independently following industry standards.
4. Collaborates with Planner Scheduler: to optimize preventative maintenance procedures.
5. Machining and welding: sets up and operates machining tools and performs welding tasks as needed.
6. Standards compliance: adheres to 5S and housekeeping standards.
7. Continuous improvement: leads and participates in CI activities, utilizing CI tools and methodologies.
8. Team support and training: assists lower-level technicians, provides training, and supports project teams.
9. Control systems troubleshooting: analyzes complex control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
10. Predictive maintenance: uses technologies to monitor equipment performance, observes trends, and recommends actions.
11. Record keeping: updates records, reviews CMMS history, and analyzes data.
12. Professional development: completes on-the-job training and self-study programs.
13. Safety adherence: follows safety policies, rules, and regulations, and maintains situational awareness.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with technical focus + 5 years of relevant experience or 7 years of industry experience.
• Experience with predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
• Ability to use basic and specialized tools.
• Experience in vibration analysis, laser interferometry, and maintenance of process equipment.
• May require travel.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Regularly required to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Occasionally sit and lift/move over 50 pounds. Visual requirements include close and color vision. Exposure to weather, electrical shock, loud factory environments, hazardous materials, and slippery floors is possible.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity:
