Position Summary: The Senior Maintenance Technician provides expertise for equipment installation, start-up, and maintenance of plant equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance (40%): Perform routine tasks to maintain equipment reliability, support production during preventative activities, identify key tasks, and optimize machine cycle times.
  • Equipment Repair (25%): Install, repair, and maintain machinery, dismantle machinery for parts replacement, and repair facility items.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting (25%): Identify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic issues, observe machinery in operation, and use tools for diagnosis.
  • Administrative (10%): Log work, communicate with departments, order parts, schedule repairs, and maintain a clean work area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certificate preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office); good English skills; Spanish a plus.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel as needed.

Physical Requirements: Must pass pre-employment physical, lift/carry 50 lbs, push/pull 50 lbs, stand 80-85%, sit 25%, twist/bend 75%, squat/climb/crawl 25%, work at heights.
