Summary:We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician with strong experience in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery and PLC-based systems. This role involves performing advanced mechanical, electrical, and controls work with minimal supervision, ensuring equipment uptime and reliability in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform expert-level diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery, PLC systems, and associated automation equipment.Troubleshoot control systems, including interpreting ladder logic and HMI interfaces, to resolve electrical and software-related issues.Disassemble and repair complex mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.Use schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to perform advanced repairs or develop solutions when documentation is unavailable.Support equipment reliability by collaborating with planners and schedulers to improve PM procedures and reduce unplanned downtime.Lead or assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.Collect and interpret predictive maintenance data (vibration, thermal imaging, etc.) and make recommendations based on trends.Maintain detailed records of repairs, modifications, and PM activities within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Provide hands-on mentoring and training to junior technicians as needed.Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and maintaining awareness of potential hazards.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a technical field preferred.Minimum of 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including significant exposure to CNC machinery and PLC-based systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, mechanical systems, servo motors, and motion control.Experience using precision tools for machine alignment and performance testing.Proficient with hand tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.Comfortable working independently and in a team setting with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
