Job summary

BioTalent is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical facility infrastructure, utilities, and laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities include advanced maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with cGMP. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and participate in on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of maintenance trades experience or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical/wiring, equipment servicing, and facility maintenance
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated biotechnology/pharmaceutical environment is highly preferred

Job description

Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking to make an impact in biopharmaceutical manufacturing?

Support the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical facility infrastructure, utilities, laboratory equipment, and manufacturing systems.

What You'll Do

• Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs across facility systems.
• Maintain critical utilities including WFI, RO/DI, chillers, cooling towers, heating hot water boilers, backup generators, and process air.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and general work requests.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility utilities, laboratory instruments, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in support of cGMP compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve maintenance issues.
• Provide technical guidance to other maintenance personnel when appropriate.
• Participate in on-call, overtime, weekend, and after-hours coverage as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years of maintenance trades experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical/wiring, equipment servicing, and facility maintenance.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs.
• Ability to work in a cGMP-regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Experience with critical utility systems such as WFI, RO/DI, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, generators, or process air is a strong plus.
