Job summary

Bozzuto in Maryland is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead and perform maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems at our properties. You will be responsible for maintaining assets, responding to issues quickly, and working with the team to ensure safety and high-quality service.

You will respond to requests within 24 hours, coordinate with other technicians, and adhere to building codes and safety standards while supporting residents, vendors

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Team oriented and detail‑minded
• HVAC certification preferred
• HVAC/electrical/plumbing/appliance repair expertise
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs occasionally
• Reliable transportation and after-hours availability
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Computer skills and comfort with software/apps
• Service mindset and a thirst for learning

Responsibilities

• Take the lead role in troubleshooting and adjusting control systems and ensuring daily functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems.
• Maintain the physical asset of the property with focus on advanced skill tasks.
• Respond quickly to deficiencies found in preventative maintenance inspections.
• Work with Maintenance Technicians to complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and teammates.
• Respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Ensure timely follow-up with residents, vendors and management.
