Job summary

Bozzuto in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems across residential communities. You will respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours, ensure safety and code compliance, and work with a team to deliver outstanding resident experiences.

This role requires 2–5 years of experience, HVAC/EPA certification preferred, and willingness to be on call, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in residential property management.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and/or Appliance Repair expertise.
• Strong communication and computer skills for resident interaction and systems documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and adjust control systems to ensure daily operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems.
• Maintain property assets with advanced maintenance skills.
• Respond to preventative maintenance deficiencies and follow through on repairs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to complete Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and vendors.
• Respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Ensure safety, codes and fair housing compliance; stay current on guidelines.
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies and possible weekend shifts.
